Making good use of its multi-year experience on the production of pulses and rice, the 3alfa company has recently established the “3alfa Hellenic Producers Academy”. By participating in the Academy’s training sessions, Greek agricultural producers will have the opportunity to become familiar with innovative practices.
The official premiere of this initiative took place in the brand-new facilities of 3alfa in Larissa (Thessaly region), through an interactive training session titled “Regenerative Agriculture: Strong Communities, Sustainable Crops”. Producers from Larissa, Boeotia, Kastoria, Florina, and Thessaloniki gathered to share their insights and learn more about the future of agriculture.
Specifically, they were introduced to cutting-edge cultivation and soil management technologies that enhance efficiency while reducing environmental impact. Panagiotis Papadopoulos, an expert with more than 25 years in the agricultural sector, offered useful knowledge on regenerative farming, presenting methods to increase the resilience of agricultural ecosystems. “Especially for legume crops — such as lentils, chickpeas, beans, and peas — regenerative practices can enrich soil fertility and reduce dependency on chemical fertilizers”, underlines the company.
Focusing on innovation, sustainability and continuous learning, 3alfa supports Greek agricultural producers by investing in their education, shaping a more efficient future for the entire sector.
