Following international food trends, Agrino has launched a new and innovative snack: Agrino Rice Chips. Made from Greek wholegrain brown rice, fava split peas, chickpeas and green peas, they are available at stores in 5 different flavors in 100% recyclable packaging.
Besides being the source of plant-based proteins and fibers, their innovation lies in containing at least 50% less fat and fewer calories than the regular potato chips, as they are not fried. Moreover, they are gluten-free, free from artificial flavors or colors, and they are also vegan and suitable for fasting.
Agrino Rice Chips are produced at the company’s factory in Sindos Thessaloniki (Northern Greece), using a popping process for rice and legumes, similar to that used for rice cakes.
The five flavors in this product line are the following: creamy mushroom, hummus, Aegean herbs, sour cream & onion, ketchup.
