In the island of Corfu, in Greece, exists a centenarian olive grove from a local variety called “Lianelia”. This grove is organically certified and cultivated in the most natural way, allowing the ecosystem of the grove to work with the farmer, delivering a hand-made, award winning olive oil of unmatched quality. Its name is Dr. Kavvadia and since its launch in 2012, it has racked up an impressive number of awards. The latest accolade, a gold medal at the Olive Japan 2020 International Extra Virgin Olive Oil Competition.
Dr. Kavvadia is an organic extra-virgin olive oil of medium intensity. It supremely balances fruitiness, bitterness and pungency while producing notes of artichoke, radishes, almonds, freshly cut grass, thyme and red pepper. No wonder it is loved by chefs around the world!

Dr Kavvadia extra virgin olive oil has medicinal properties, properties officially certified by the European Food Safety Authority. These medicinal properties are found in the surprisingly high levels of antioxidants present in the olive oil (Eleuropein and Tyrosol complex, among others) and contribute –among other properties– to the good health of the heart by protecting blood lipids from oxydative stress.
