Black Angus Sausage is a new gluten free product launched by Koutsioftis Farm, based in Makrochori Veria (Northern Greece). Made from selected Greek Black Angus beef and natural ingredients, it is free from hormones and antibiotics, offering rich flavor to meat lovers.
Since 2008, Koutsioftis Farm has invested in research and innovation. The calves’ diet consists of the patented feed mix “Aroma Omega 3”, which is the result of long-term research conducted by the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. The feed mixture used is 100% vegetable, consisting mainly of cereals (corn, barley, bran) and enriched with aromatic plants of the Greek land such as oregano, mint, basil and flaxseed. This particular feeding process results in the enrichment of the animal’s fatty tissue with omega-3 fatty acids and antioxidants. The aromas of all these plants are also passed on to the meat, giving it a distinctive taste and aroma.
