The turnover of the Greek dairy industry KRI KRI in the first nine months of 2020 amounted to €102.75 million compared to €92.94 million in the first nine months of 2019, showing an increase of 10.6%. Gross profits amounted to €35.17 million compared to €34.78 million in the first nine months of 2019, while operating profit (EBITDA) amounted to €21.38 million compared to €19.92 million in the first nine months of 2019. Profits before taxes amounted to €18.52 million compared to €17.29 million in the first nine months of 2019, and net profit after taxes amounted to €14.03 million compared to €12.45 million euros in the same period of 2019.

Market share and exports

In the Greek yogurt market, KRI KRI sales show an increase of + 10.7%, reaching €38.4 million. This performance is linked to the 1.7% growth of the market in these nine months, to the increase of the market share of the branded KRI KRI yogurts, as well as to the increase of the sales of private label products. The market share of KRI KRI yogurt is now 16.6%, maintaining the 2nd market position [IRI data in volume, September 2020].
In global markets, yogurt sales continue to grow at a strong pace (+26.4% increase), whereas the total value of yogurt exports exceeded €37.9 million, accounting for 50% of the dairy activity.
In the first nine months of 2020, investments in fixed equipment and buildings reached €6.2 million. Despite the difficult circumstances, the sound and liquid financial condition of KRI KRI allow the smooth implementation of all planned investment plans.
