The organization “New Agriculture New Generation” is extending the implementation of the free program “Stevia: A Sustainable and Regenerative Transition” to the regional units of Rhodope and Xanthi. The program is implemented in collaboration with the Stevia Hellas cooperative and is backed by the founding support of the Stavros Niarchos Foundation (SNF).

Τhe main objective of the program is to motivate young people of the region to become actively involved in the agricultural sector and especially in the cultivation of stevia, thus unlocking opportunities in organic and regenerative agriculture.

The program will last for 172 hours during the course of 12 months, of which 60 hours will be implemented through distance learning and 112 hours will involve practical training and on-farm counselling as well as on-site visits to pilot agri-food businesses and farms.
