Greek exports have been steadily growing in both July 2019 and during the January-July 2019 period, with growth rates rising to 3%. According to provisional data published by the Hellenic Statistical Authority and processed by the Institute of Export Research and Studies of the Greek Exporters Association (SEVE), Greek exports stood at €3,174.2 million in July 2019 compared to €2,961.2 million in July 2018, showing an increase of 7.2%.
Specifically, with regard to the Food & Beverage industry, its turnover was up by €46.5 million, or 1.7%. In fact, in the period January-July 2019, food exports amounted to €2,788 million compared to €2,741.5 million for the same period in 2018.
