Kri Kri, one of the most dynamic Greek dairy companies, aims to further strengthen its growth prospects, both in Greece and abroad. Focused on its expansion strategy in various international markets, the brand is entering the ice-cream markets of China and Canada.
The company has already strengthened its presence in the Balkans in 2018, and for 2019 it plans targeted investments in order to improve its competitiveness and expand its private label products. In total, within 2018, exports achieved significant growth of up to +40% compared to 2017, amounting to €34.5 million. Namely, in the UK market, one of the key destinations for Kri Kri, sales increased by +47%.
In order to strengthen competitiveness in international markets, the company is currently investing in the development of special and innovative products. In fact, during the 2017-2018 period, Kri Kri invested €18 million in the development of innovative products, as well as the improvement of the quality of its entire range of products and the strengthening of the company’s production capacity. Actually, the brand has recently launched new frozen yogurt and premium ice cream products.
As far as the Greek market is concerned, Kri Kri is planning to further develop its distribution network from 14,000 to 15,000 sales points, and to introduce new, exciting offerings.
