Impressive presence of 26 Greek export companies at the International Exhibition of Private Label Products PLMA 2022
Greece’s national participation in the 35th International Exhibition of Private Label Products – PLMA 2022, which took place between May 31st and June 1st 2022, in Amsterdam (Netherlands), was a great success.
PLMA is the largest and most important International Exhibition in the field of private label products, presenting the most innovative solutions of the sector. This product category’s turnover is hundreds of billions worldwide, both in food and beverages and in other items (eg personal care products, detergents, etc.).
In this year’s exhibition, at the 380m2 national stand organized by the Hellenic Investment and Foreign Trade Company (Enterprise Greece), 26 dynamic export companies were hosted, mainly in the food and beverage sector, presenting excellent Greek food products.
The category of private label products is important for Greek exports, as key sectors such as canning contribute hundreds of millions of euros from exports worldwide while supporting thousands of jobs in manufacturing and the primary agricultural sector.
It is worth mentioning that during the exhibition, more than 1.500 business meetings where held between Greek exporters and professionals-visitors, creating the basis for further penetration of Greek products on the shelves of big retailers worldwide.
